"When you take your dog on the street, if he barks at people or other dogs, cuff his nose or give him a shaking."

Puppy House Training - House Manners

When he sniffs the ground, give the leash a tug.

Puppy House Training - House Manners

House rules include:

* Little barking
* No chewing
* No stealing
* Stay alone quietly
* Stay off furniture
* No jumping on people
* Be clean in the house.

Your puppy will more quickly learn the difference between right and wrong:

* If you are patient.
* If you are watchful and prevent mistakes.
* If you correct when mistakes are made.
* If you correct every time a mistake is made.

For example: If you want your puppy to stay off the furniture, push him down every time he gets up. If he sneaks up when you aren't there, place something in his favorite chair that will jump or make a squawking noise. A wound-up toy should do the trick.

Throw something at the spot and tell him "NO!

Matt's dog is the only dog that actually bit through the suit. Or rather, he didn't bite through the suit, but the only dog that caused me any pain. I failed to get a picture of the medium sized bruise on my forearm. He got a good amount of suit into his mouth, so there was no extra padding when his teeth came down HARD! Yeeouch! And I still had to fight with him. Coulda been worse... :)

When you throw the ball say "Catch!
